What we’re looking for
We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative event marketing manager to coordinate events that will help us drive growth and brand awareness across the markets we serve. We’re looking for someone with exceptional organizational skills who loves bringing dozens of details and logistics together in a beautiful (and probably color-coded) plan that is executed flawlessly. You enjoy thinking outside of the box and developing unique events & experiences that support growth, thought leadership, and customer advocacy.
This role will report directly to the CMO and is an excellent opportunity for a marketer who wants to grow within a B2B company and is excited to join our mission of making science accessible to all learners.
What you’ll do
You'll support the strategy and execution of in-person and virtual event programs that generate pipeline and awareness.
Lead end-to-end planning for all events including industry tradeshows, regional sales events, webinars, and thought leadership programs.
Collaborate cross functionally with sales and marketing to develop the event strategy including pre-show campaigns, planning onsite promotions/dinners, and post-event follow up
Manage an event calendar and collaborate with the marketing team to ensure events are part of broader, integrated campaigns
Develop unique and creative experiences at events that drive engagement and help the brand stand out
Manage the production of all event materials such as pre- and post-event communications, landing pages, promotional graphics, collateral, and signage
Negotiate and secure exhibit contracts, sponsorships, and meeting space
Coordinate logistics for equipment, travel, and shipping to ensure everything onsite goes smoothly
Report on key metrics to evaluate event performance and ROI

3 – 5 years of experience in field or event marketing
Success planning, overseeing, and executing events in both virtual and in-person environments.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work and collaborate with a range of internal stakeholders (including C-Suite management)
You’re proactive, have a strong sense of urgency, and a solution-focused attitude
The Perks
Competitive salary and bonus
Up to 4% 401(k) matching program
Comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, and vision)
Unlimited PTO
Regular collaboration with leadership and the opportunity to shape company strategy
